The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Morocco, Ahmed Sareer, presented copy of his Letters of Credence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco, His Excellency Nasser Bourita.
The ceremony took place this afternoon at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco today.
During the meeting that followed the ceremony, Ambassador Sareer conveyed warm greetings and sincere felicitations from His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Government, and the brotherly people of Morocco.
Ambassador Sareer further expressed deep appreciation for the longstanding bonds of friendship and close cooperation between the Maldives and Morocco and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the existing bilateral relations and advancing mutually beneficial collaboration between the two countries during his tenure.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco congratulated Ambassador Sareer on his appointment and extended best wishes for a successful tenure as the Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Morocco.
Ambassador Ahmed Sareer currently serves as the Ambassador of the Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He will serve as the Ambassador, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Morocco with residency in Riyadh.
Ambassador Sareer was accompanied at the ceremony by Nafha Hassan, Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
