The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has sent a congratulatory message to Hon. Shisir Khanal, on his appointment as the new Foreign Minister of Nepal.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It is with great pleasure that I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency on your appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal following the successful election.
Your Excellency’s appointment comes at an important juncture in Nepal’s democratic journey. I am confident that your distinguished experience and leadership will contribute immensely to further enhancing Nepal’s role in both regional and global arena.
The Maldives highly values the longstanding friendship between our two countries, rooted in mutual respect and shared aspirations as fellow South Asian countries. The strong people-to-people ties, including the valued contributions of the Nepali expatriate community, remain a cornerstone of our partnership.
