Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi today, during the Prime Minister’s ongoing State Visit to the Maldives.
During the meeting, Minister Dr. Khaleel welcomed the Prime Minister and his delegation to the Maldives and reaffirmed the excellent and longstanding relations between the two countries.
Prime Minister reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of India to work together to strengthen the existing close cooperation between the two countries in multiple areas.
Concluding the call, both sides affirmed their commitment to strengthen existing bilateral ties further and work together on areas of mutual interest.
