Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel departed to Brussels, Belgium to attend the fourth European Union Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, on an invitation by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas.
The Forum will take place in Brussels, Belgium from 20 – 21 November 2025, and will mark an important milestone for the cooperation between the European Union and the Indo-Pacific regions.
Foreign Minister Dr. Khaleel is scheduled to have meetings with counterparts from friendly countries, at the sidelines of the Forum and will also participate at a roundtable session titled “Common endeavors for a clean and sustainable future”.
The Maldives' participation at the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum demonstrates the strong commitment to fostering regional and global cooperation through dialogue and multilateral engagement.
