Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to Nauru
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends message of felicitations to Lionel Rouwen Aingimea, MP, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nauru, on the occasion of their Independence Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Nauru, on the occasion of your 54th Independence Day.
As fellow SIDS, I look forward to enhancing cooperation between our two countries at the bilateral and multilateral front.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and happiness, and for continued peace, progress and prosperity of people of Nauru.”
