The newly appointed Non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Maldives, His Excellency Wiebe Jakob De Boer paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam this morning, following the presentation of his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office earlier today.
Foreign Minister Iruthisham congratulated Ambassador Wiebe Jakob De Boer on the presentation of his Letters of Credence to His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
During the meeting, Ambassador Wiebe Jakob De Boer expressed his gratitude to the Foreign Minister. The Minister and Ambassador discussed strengthening the longstanding relations between Maldives and Netherlands across various sectors including education, tourism, environment and economic cooperation to further enhance and deepen the cooperation between both nations.
Minister Iruthisham was accompanied by Secretary, Her Excellency Dr. Hala Hameed, Secretary Multilateral, His Excellency Ahmed Shiaan, Deputy Minister, Ms. Aminath Minaa, Joint Secretary, Mr. Hassan Hussain Shihab, Senior Political Director, Mr. Ahmed Haanee Naeem and Senior Political Director, Ms. Aaisha Mayaaseen Mohamed.
