Maldives High Commissioner to Bangladesh Presents His Letter of Credence

21 January 2010, Dhaka; The new Maldives High Commissioner to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Sareer, presented his Letter of Credence to the President of Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Md. Zillur Rahman. The presentation ceremony was held today at the President’s Palace in Dhaka.

After the ceremony, the High Commissioner and the President discussed ways to further strengthen the close bilateral relations that exist between the Maldives and Bangladesh.

Following the presentation of credentials, High Commissioner Sareer becomes the second resident High Commissioner to Bangladesh. The first High Commissioner was H.E. Dr. Abdullah Samad.
